Stash is Josh Franklin, born on Long Island, New York, in 1967.
He painted New York subway trains in the early 1980s, and as a teenager showed a canvas at the Fun Gallery alongside Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

He started the clothing label Subware in 1993 and opened the Recon store in 1998.

The New York Yankees began in 1903 as the Highlanders and took the name Yankees in 1913.

They won their first World Series in 1923.
Babe Ruth joined them from the Boston Red Sox in 1920.
