Neil Blender was born in 1963 and grew up in Anaheim, California.
In 1981 he turned pro for G&S with a board graphic he drew himself, one of the first pros to do so.

In 1990 he helped start the skateboard company Alien Workshop.

A collaboration with Steve Ellis: one of his painted Buck knives.

Steve Ellis was born in Washington, D.C., in 1970 and works in New York, painting everyday objects like lighters and knives.

He has taught at New York’s School of Visual Arts since 1997.
