A collaboration with Dash Snow: his photograph of a gas station at night, its sign reading “hell”.

Dash Snow (1981–2009) was born in New York.
In the 1990s he wrote graffiti as SACE with IRAK, a crew of writers, skaters and artists.
He photographed his friends and their nights on Polaroids, and showed in the 2006 Whitney Biennial.

In 2007 he and Dan Colen filled Deitch Projects with shredded phone books for their installation Nest.

A collaboration with Roland: the TR-08, a small remake of its TR-808, in white.

Roland is a Japanese maker of electronic instruments, founded by Ikutaro Kakehashi in Osaka in 1972.

Its TR-808 drum machine (1980) shaped hip-hop and electro; Afrika Bambaataa and Soulsonic Force used it on “Planet Rock”.
