Bialetti Moka Express | Paint Hooded Sweatshirt

A collaboration with Bialetti: the Moka Express in red.

Bialetti was founded by Alfonso Bialetti in Crusinallo, near Omegna in northern Italy, in 1919; in 1933 came the Moka Express, the octagonal aluminium coffee pot.

The Moka Express is in the collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art.

A collaboration with Josh Smith, the letters painted across the back.

Josh Smith was born in Okinawa, Japan, in 1976 and grew up mostly in East Tennessee.
He paints in series, returning to palm trees, skeletons, fish, leaves and the Grim Reaper.

He first became known, in the early 2000s, for paintings made of his own name.
